Liang Wei, former member of the Party Committee and vice chairman of the Guizhou Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, has been expelled from the Party and dismissed from public office.

After investigation, Liang Wei lost his ideals and beliefs, deviated from his original mission, and resisted organizational inspection; violated the spirit of the Eight-point Central Committee regulations, accepted invitations and travel arrangements that may affect the fair execution of official duties, and had expenses that should have been paid by himself paid by others; he lost his integrity and engaged in profit-making activities, accepting payments from others; he used public power as a tool to gain personal benefits, engaged in the trading of power and money, used his position to profit for others in project contracting, project funds disbursement, etc., and illegally accepted huge amounts of money.
