US tech giant Microsoft and Abu Dhabi's G42 company announced on Wednesday that they will be expanding a data center in the United Arab Emirates with a capacity of up to 200 megawatts. This expansion is part of Microsoft's commitment to invest over $15 billion in the Gulf nation. The two companies said in a joint statement that the expansion project will be carried out through G42's subsidiary, Hizna Data Center, and is expected to be gradually operational by the end of next year, but did not disclose further details.
