The first deal of the eighth edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) has been completed, with purchases of engine components amounting to over one billion US dollars.

This afternoon, the "First Day" event of the Shanghai Trading Delegation was successfully held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center. Purchasers signed a purchase order for V2500 engine components worth over a billion US dollars, marking the first successful landing of the first order of the 8th CIIE in Qingpu District, Shanghai. For eight consecutive years, the "first order" has been awarded to Qingpu, which not only confirms Qingpu's strong presence in international trade but also, with its outstanding purchasing power, builds a "golden gateway" for global goods to enter the Chinese market. During the event, Qingpu District also held a ceremony to award the "First Photo" and "First Certificate", presenting the first business license and the first food business license to the exhibitors respectively. The issuance of these two certificates signifies that the two companies have officially settled in Qingpu. In addition, three companies have obtained AEO advanced certification. AEO stands for "Certified Economic Operator" in Chinese, which is an exclusive name given by Chinese customs to high-credit enterprises. AEO enterprises can enjoy 47 VIP service measures in five categories, including priority processing, reduced regulatory frequency, lower customs clearance costs, shorter processing time, and optimized services, essentially obtaining a "green channel" for customs clearance. At the event, these three companies were also awarded a key enterprise service package. In the future, with integrated support in key areas such as policies, talent, and funding, these companies will deeply integrate into the regional industrial chain and achieve high-quality development.
