The Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong issues a lifetime ban on former individuals associated with Hang Seng Bank, prohibiting Zhang Yi from re-entering the industry.

According to the website of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has imposed a lifetime ban on Zhang Yi, a former relevant person of Hang Seng Bank Limited, from re-entering the industry. Zhang was previously convicted of criminal charges for stealing client assets. Following the conviction for theft, Zhang was sentenced to 30 months in prison by the district court on March 31, 2025.
