The Ministry of Water Resources has released a water industry standard.

Recently, the Ministry of Water Resources issued Announcement No. 27 of 2025, approving the release of the "Technical Specification for River and Lake Management Range Delineation" as a standard for the water industry. This standard will be implemented starting from January 28, 2026. The "Technical Specification for River and Lake Management Range Delineation" is a newly formulated standard for the water industry, consisting of 7 chapters and 3 appendices. The main contents of this standard include basic provisions, data collection and base map production, delineation of river and lake management boundaries, identification of river and lake management boundaries, and compilation and filing of delineation results, and it is applicable to the delineation of management boundaries for rivers and lakes.
