Shanghai Municipal Committee Member and Executive Deputy Mayor Wu Wei said at the sub-forum "Financial Support for Global Economic and Trade Development" of the 8th Hongqiao International Economic Forum that we will continue to deepen financial market reforms, promote high-level financial opening, and build Shanghai into a hot land where global capital is willing to come, stay, and develop. We will build convenient cross-border investment and financing bridges, leverage the role of pilot free trade zones and the new area in Lingang, and provide more flexible and efficient solutions for cross-border financial services. We will establish Shanghai as a node city for financial cooperation in the Belt and Road Initiative, supporting infrastructure connectivity and industrial chain cooperation along the Belt and Road routes. We will stimulate new energy in global trade and industry, continuously innovate in supply chain finance, trade financing, export credit insurance and other products, support the development of new trade formats, meet the financing needs of various types of enterprises, and facilitate the smooth and stable operation of the global supply chain funds.
