Closing Remarks: The ChiNext Index opened low and rose by 1%, with multiple stocks in the electric grid equipment and photovoltaic energy storage sectors experiencing significant gains.
Today, the three major A-share indexes collectively rose. By the close of trading, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.23%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 0.37%, the ChiNext Index rose by 1.03%, and the CSI 50 Index fell by 0.21%. The total turnover in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing exceeded 1.8943 trillion yuan for the whole day, a decrease of 44.1 billion yuan compared to the previous day. More than 3300 individual stocks rose across the entire market.
In terms of sector performance, the top gainers included sectors such as power grid equipment, Hainan Free Trade Zone, photovoltaic energy storage, duty-free shops, phosphate chemicals, and coal mining and processing. On the other hand, top losers included quantum technology, insurance, semiconductors, and AI corpus sectors.
On the market, the power grid equipment and photovoltaic energy storage sectors all saw a strong performance, with stocks like Beijing Electric Power, Shenzhen Sunrose, ATS, Tongrun Equipment, and Sanbian Technology all hitting their daily limit up. The Hainan Free Trade Zone sector saw many stocks with significant gains, with companies like Intercontinental Oil & Gas, Caesar Travel Industry, Haima Automobile, Strait Holdings, and Hainan Development all hit the limit up. The coal sector continued its upward trend, with Antai Group hitting the limit up for three consecutive days and Baotailong also hitting the limit up. In addition, sectors such as solid-state batteries, phosphate chemicals, and duty-free shops also had good performances.
On the other hand, most quantum technology concept stocks saw adjustments, with companies like Fujida, Keda Group, and Guodun Quantum all declining. The storage chip sector experienced a partial correction, with stocks like Yunhan Xincheng, Zhaoyi Innovation, and Fudan Microelectronics all seeing declines.
