The UK has implemented mandatory confinement measures for poultry to curb the spread of avian flu.

The British government announced on the 4th that starting from the 6th, mandatory poultry containment measures will be officially implemented throughout England to deal with the increasingly severe avian flu epidemic. The British Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs said in a statement on the same day that the new measures mean that breeders in various parts of England must contain all poultry and birds if they keep more than 50 poultry and captive birds, or sell or give away poultry-related products.
