Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) is reportedly planning to open a precious metal warehouse in Hong Kong.

According to reports, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) plans to open a precious metals warehouse at Hong Kong International Airport. This will boost the bank's trading business and also contribute to Hong Kong's ambition to become a global gold center. Sources familiar with the matter disclosed that ICBC has rented part of the warehouse space at the airport. They stated that the bank plans to complete the preparation of the warehouse in the coming months; as this information is not public, the sources refused to disclose their names.
