Building a new era youth teacher team in colleges and universities: six departments propose 14 measures.

The Ministry of Education, the Central Organization Department, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and other departments recently issued the "Guiding Opinions on Strengthening the Construction of Young Teachers in Universities in the New Era", proposing 14 measures from five aspects to make work arrangements to support and guide the comprehensive development of young teachers. The overall requirement of the "Guiding Opinions" is to strengthen the full-chain construction of young teachers in universities, comprehensively enhance the ideological and political qualities, educational and teaching levels, scientific research innovation capabilities, social service skills, and international perspectives of young teachers, providing more powerful guarantee for the construction of an education power, a science and technology power, and a talent power. The "Guiding Opinions" focus on the growth and development of young teachers in universities, and propose key tasks in the construction of young teacher teams around five aspects such as strengthening ideological and political leadership. It emphasizes sticking to the first standard of teacher ethics, and adhering to a "zero tolerance" policy for violations of teacher ethics.
