Oman LNG Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Gas Company of Spain, with the aim of discussing a long-term liquefied natural gas supply agreement. Starting in 2030, the agreement will last for 10 years with an annual supply volume of up to 1 million tons. The two companies will also consider jointly investing in the construction of a liquefied natural gas carrier with Oman Shipping Company.
