German electric vehicle public charging stations increase by 16% annually, Automotive Industry Association: too slow to build!

The latest analysis report released by the German Association of the Automotive Industry shows that as of October 1st, Germany has approximately 180,000 electric vehicle public charging stations, an increase of 16% compared to the same period last year. The association believes that the progress of charging infrastructure construction is still too slow and the distribution is imbalanced. According to a report by Xinhua News Agency on the 4th, data from the Federal Motor Transport Authority cited in the above analysis report shows that among the 180,000 public charging stations, there are approximately 44,000 fast charging stations; the total rated power of public charging stations exceeds 7.3 million kilowatts, with a year-on-year increase of approximately 30%.
