German electric car public charging stations increase by 16% annually, Automotive Industry Association: Building too slow!
The latest analysis report released by the German Association of the Automotive Industry shows that as of October 1st, Germany had approximately 180,000 electric vehicle public charging stations, representing a 16% increase compared to the same period last year. The association believes that the progress of charging infrastructure construction is still too slow and unevenly distributed. According to a report by Xinhua News Agency on the 4th, data from the Federal Motor Transport Authority cited in the analysis report shows that out of the 180,000 public charging stations, around 44,000 are fast charging stations; the total rated power of public charging stations exceeds 7.3 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of approximately 30%.
