Hong Kong's Business and Economic Development Bureau: Hong Kong's startup ecosystem is growing rapidly with the number of startups increasing to 4,700.

According to the SmartFinance APP, Nicholas Yang, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of Hong Kong, emphasized during his keynote speech at the main forum event of the StartmeupHK Entrepreneurship Festival 2025 that the startup ecosystem in Hong Kong is growing rapidly. The number of startups has increased nearly threefold over the past decade to around 4,700 last year.
