The Guangzhou-Shenzhen High-speed Railway Lines I and II will operate at a maximum speed of 200 kilometers per hour.
Journalists learned from the China Railway Guangzhou Group Corporation that the quality improvement project for the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway Lines I and II has been completed. Starting from November 5th, high-speed trains can run at a maximum speed of 200 kilometers per hour. The operating schedule has also been optimized, with 178 high-speed trains running daily on both local and cross-line routes, an increase of 27 trains compared to before the quality improvement. This will further enhance the capacity and efficiency of the railway transportation between Guangzhou and Shenzhen, greatly facilitating the travel of people along the route. It will provide high-quality and efficient railway transportation services for the 15th National Games and support the high-quality development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
