Dongguan Chang'an Customs seized 269 counterfeit "Apple" phones.

Recently, during an inspection of goods declared for export by a certain company by Dongguan Chang'an Customs under Huangpu Customs, it was found that a batch of mobile phones suspected of infringing the trademark of "Apple" was discovered, totaling 269 units. After contacting the rights holder, it was determined that the goods were infringing on their trademark rights registered with the General Administration of Customs, and they applied for the goods to be detained. Currently, the goods suspected of infringing are being transferred to the disposal department for further action. In accordance with Article 44 and Article 91 of the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China, customs protect intellectual property rights related to goods entering and exiting the country, and goods that infringe on intellectual property rights protected by Chinese laws and regulations when imported or exported illegally shall be confiscated by customs and fined; if it constitutes a crime, criminal responsibility will be pursued according to law.
