Sinopec's procurement contracts at this China International Import Expo exceeded 40.9 billion US dollars.

On November 4th, the China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) themed forum and signing ceremony for the Sinopec trade delegation was held in Shanghai as part of the 8th China International Import Expo. At the signing ceremony, Sinopec signed agreements with 34 partners from 17 countries and regions, involving 24 types of products in 10 categories including crude oil, chemicals, equipment, materials, and consumer goods, with a total procurement amount exceeding $40.9 billion. Since the first Import Expo in 2018, Sinopec has signed contracts totaling over $325 billion at eight Import Expos.
