Hong Kong Land Registry: The total value of building sale contracts in October was 579 billion Hong Kong dollars, an increase of 39% year-on-year.

According to the Wise Finance and Economics APP, on November 4, the Hong Kong Land Registry released the statistics for October 2025. In October, a total of 7190 building sale and purchase agreements were registered with the Hong Kong Land Registry (an increase of 4.7% compared to September, and a 22.8% increase compared to October of the previous year). Calculated on a twelve-month moving average basis, there were 6482 building sale and purchase agreements in October (an increase of 1.7% compared to September, and a 25.3% increase compared to October of the previous year). The total value of building sale and purchase agreements in October was 57.9 billion Hong Kong dollars (an 8.3% increase compared to September, and a 39.0% increase compared to October of the previous year).
