According to the Wisdom Finance and Economics APP, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce responded to questions from reporters regarding ASML semiconductor related issues. The Ministry of Commerce stated that China, with a responsible attitude towards the stability and security of the global semiconductor supply chain, announced on November 1 that it would grant exemptions to eligible exports and make efforts to promote ASML (China) to resume supply. However, the Dutch side continues to act in a unilateral manner, and has not taken any practical actions to solve the problem, which will inevitably deepen the negative impact on the global semiconductor supply chain. This is something that China and the global industry do not want to see. China hopes that the Dutch side will consider the overall situation of Sino-Dutch and Sino-European economic and trade relations, as well as the stability and security of the production and supply chain, and take a responsible attitude to work with China to stop interfering in the internal affairs of companies and find constructive solutions to the ASML semiconductor issue. At the same time, China will firmly defend the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises and make efforts to stabilize and ensure the smooth operation of the global semiconductor supply chain.
