Sammy Ho-hoi led a delegation to attend the 8th China International Import Expo in Shanghai.

The Chief Executive of the Macao SAR, Ho Iat Seng, will depart for Shanghai this afternoon to attend the opening ceremony and related events of the 8th China International Import Expo on November 5th. The Secretary for Economy and Finance, Lei Wai Nong, will accompany him. The 8th Import Expo will be held from November 5th to 10th, with 155 countries, regions, and international organizations participating. The SAR government will lead a delegation of Macao entrepreneurs to Shanghai, where Macao companies will exhibit at the "Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries Food and Beverage Pavilion" and the "Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries Professional Services Pavilion," showcasing Macao-manufactured products, Macao brands, food and beverages from Portuguese-speaking countries, and various professional services. Ho Iat Seng and his delegation will return to Macao on November 5th. While the Chief Executive is away, the Secretary for Administration and Justice, Andre Cheong Weng Chon, will temporarily act as Chief Executive.
