Ripple has launched a new digital asset spot bulk brokerage platform for the US market, expanding its institutional services to cover over a dozen major cryptocurrencies for over-the-counter spot trading, including XRP and its proprietary stablecoin RLUSD. The launch marks the first major expansion of Ripple Prime in the United States. Earlier, the company acquired the multi-asset brokerage firm Hidden Road for $1.25 billion, with the deal first disclosed in April and completed last month. Ripple then integrated its licensing technology with Hidden Road's infrastructure to build a unified clearing, financing, and execution platform that combines digital assets, foreign exchange, derivatives, and fixed income.
