The economic "three-quarter report" of 31 provinces is released, with outstanding performance in the Yangtze River Delta region.
In the first three quarters, China's GDP was 1015036 billion yuan, calculated at constant prices, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%. In terms of the total economic volume in various regions, Guangdong and Jiangsu exceeded 10 trillion yuan, reaching 105176.98 billion yuan and 102811.0 billion yuan respectively, ranking first and second, followed closely by Shandong in third place. Zhejiang, Sichuan, Henan, Hubei, Fujian, Shanghai, and Hunan ranked fourth to tenth, noteworthy is that the GDP of the top ten provinces in the first three quarters of this year all exceeded 4 trillion yuan. In terms of economic growth rate, Tibet led the country with a growth rate of 7.1%, followed closely by Gansu at 6.1%, ranking second, and Hubei with a growth rate of 6% ranking third. Journalists noted the outstanding performance of the Yangtze River Delta region in the "Three Quarters Report" of the economy. In terms of growth rate, the GDP growth rate of the three provinces and one city in the first three quarters was 5.4%, 5.7%, 5.4%, and 5.5% respectively, all exceeding the national growth rate. In terms of total amount, the GDP of the three provinces and one city totaled about 25.18 trillion yuan, accounting for approximately 24.81% of the total national economic volume.
