Chief of Naval Staff of Pakistan: the first batch of the "Hangor" class submarines, a joint project with China, will be commissioned into service next year.

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf recently stated in an interview with Global Times reporters that the first batch of "Hangor" class submarines, a joint cooperation between China and Pakistan, is expected to officially join the Pakistan Navy next year. He mentioned that the "Hangor" submarine project is progressing smoothly, with the second and third submarines successfully launched in China earlier this year, marking an "important milestone" in naval cooperation between China and Pakistan.
