Regarding the APEC meeting to be held in Shenzhen next year, when asked if Hong Kong will co-host some activities, Carrie Lam said that it will depend on the planning of the central government, and the SAR government will fully cooperate. Carrie Lam said: "I believe the country will consider the overall layout of the meeting and refer to the guidance of the APEC meeting in order to make comprehensive arrangements. We will fully cooperate and support any requests from the country, and I believe everyone will be very encouraged, because Hong Kong and Shenzhen are sister cities, we are very close, and whatever support or cooperation is needed, the SAR government will spare no effort."
