Duan Yongping donated 15 million worth of Maotai stocks.

On October 31st, the donation ceremony of the "Duan Ximing Education Special Fund" of Jiangxi Institute of Water Resources and Electric Power was held in the conference room 300 of the administrative building at the Yao Lake campus. Duan Yongping donated ten thousand shares of Guizhou Maotai Liquor Co., Ltd. stock he owned to the Education Development Fund of Jiangxi Water Resources and Electric Power University to establish an education special fund in the name of his parents, fully supporting the development of the school's education scholarship program. It is reported that this donation is another generous support from Duan Yongping to the school, following his donation of $5 million in 2007 to construct the Duan Ximing Library.
