The interest rate of the US I Bond has increased slightly to 4.03%, with the fixed interest rate lowered but still outperforming most savings products.
According to the Wisdom Finance and Economics APP, the U.S. Treasury Department's official website released on Friday that the annualized interest rate of the new round of inflation-linked savings bonds (I Bonds) has been set at 4.03%, effective from this Saturday, and will be maintained for six months. This interest rate is slightly higher than the 3.98% of the past six months, and is basically consistent with the market's previous forecast of "slightly higher than 4%".
