According to the Tianyancha App, on October 31st, the patent for the "method for repairing vehicle-to-battery pack and charging pile-to-battery pack" applied by BYD Company Limited was published. The abstract shows that this invention relates to the field of battery technology. The method for repairing the battery pack of a vehicle includes: when the vehicle is connected to a charging pile, the vehicle sends a repair plan for the battery pack to the charging pile; or the vehicle receives a repair plan for the battery pack; based on the repair plan, the vehicle and the charging pile cooperate to repair the battery pack. With this method, the battery pack can be repaired in situ on the vehicle, thereby extending the service life of the battery pack. When the battery pack in service experiences capacity degradation, timely repair can be carried out through the battery pack repair method to effectively extend the battery pack's lifespan, reduce vehicle operating costs, and improve user experience.
