On October 31st, the National Internet Information Office held a policy seminar on cross-border data flow for foreign-funded enterprises in China. At the meeting, the responsible comrades of the National Internet Information Office's Network Data Management Bureau introduced the progress of recent work on data export security management, addressed the concerns and demands of enterprises, and explained the standards and norms for the export of personal information. The participating companies actively praised the progress and achievements China has made in promoting efficient, convenient, and secure cross-border data flow, stating that the seminar helped them understand and grasp relevant policies more accurately and would facilitate the efficient and compliant conduct of data export activities. Representatives from more than 30 foreign-funded enterprises in China attended the seminar.
