Wu Qing: Creating a standardized, inclusive, and dynamic capital market ecosystem.
In the "Guidance Reader of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development," Wu Qing, Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, published a signed article entitled "Improving the Inclusiveness and Adaptability of the Capital Market." Wu Qing pointed out the importance of jointly creating a standardized, inclusive, and dynamic capital market ecosystem. He emphasized the need to strengthen the rule of law in the capital market, promote the revision of the Securities Law and the Securities Investment Fund Law, formulate and revise regulations on the supervision and management of listed companies and securities companies, and actively create an open, fair, and just market environment. He also advocated for the improvement of investor protection mechanisms such as class actions and the strengthening of investor education and promotion of rational, value-based, and long-term investments. Additionally, Wu Qing highlighted the importance of enhancing the construction of high-end think tanks and talent teams in the capital market and conducting research on strategic, foundational, and forward-looking issues. He suggested the establishment of a mechanism for managing expectations, strengthening publicity and guidance, and promoting a positive public opinion atmosphere that encourages innovation and tolerance of failure throughout society.
