Daily gas supply can meet the needs of 65 million households. Phase 23 storage facilities have completed capacity expansion.
Today, it was learned from the National Pipe Network Group that the National Pipe Network Group's important project during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the W23 Gas Storage Facility, has successfully completed its expansion, with a peak gas supply capacity of 36.5 million cubic meters per day. The overall gas storage and peak shaving capacity has increased by 22%, which is of great significance for ensuring the supply of gas for people's livelihoods in North China and the Yellow River Basin, and serving economic and social development. The W23 Gas Storage Facility is located in Puyang, Henan Province, and is the largest gas storage facility in the central and eastern regions of China. The second phase expansion project that has been put into operation includes the construction of 24 new injection and production wells, expansion of existing injection and production stations, addition of 4 gas injection compressors, as well as the construction of 4 cluster well fields and corresponding gas collection and transportation trunk lines.
