Guo Huanxin, director of the Metrology Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, stated at a regular policy briefing of the State Council on the 31st that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the State Administration for Market Regulation will strengthen the formulation and implementation of standards for trade facilitation, fully leveraging the role of standards in providing technical support for high-quality economic and social development. In terms of strengthening the construction of the national standard system, in 2022, the State Administration for Market Regulation, together with the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and other departments, will jointly publish China's first carbon peak and carbon neutrality standard system, providing top-level guidance for the revision of green and low-carbon standards in various fields.
