China Council for the Promotion of International Trade: The business communities of China and the United States have formed a mutually beneficial and win-win community of shared interests.
This morning, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade held a press conference, during which the spokesperson for the council interpreted the economic and trade relationship between China and the United States. In recent years, especially based on the recent economic and trade exchanges between the two countries, the business communities of China and the United States have formed a mutually beneficial community of shared interests. This year, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade has invited and received over 60 batches of American institutions and business leaders to visit China. At the third Chain Expo held this year, the number of American exhibitors increased by 15% compared to the previous year, continuing to be the largest number of foreign exhibitors, with a 10% increase in booth area. Many American enterprises actively participated in the local activities organized by us for foreign-funded enterprises and expressed clear intentions to invest. From January to October this year, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade has guided and organized over 3,500 Chinese companies to participate in more than 50 professional exhibitions in the United States such as the Consumer Electronics Show, Hardware Show, and Fashion Show in Las Vegas. The spokesperson for the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Yang Fan, stated that it covers multiple fields including electronics, textiles, consumer goods, pharmaceutical raw materials, optoelectronics, building materials, and energy storage, with a total exhibition area of over 48,000 square meters. In the first nine months of this year, the national trade promotion system issued 66,000 certificates of origin to the United States. The specialized trade promotion agencies and Hong Kong specialized companies under the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade have represented American applicants in more than 7,000 patent and trademark applications in China this year. In particular, under the framework of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce, more than 100 cooperative activities have been jointly organized, serving nearly 3,000 enterprises and promoting practical cooperation between both sides in advanced manufacturing, rail transit, energy saving and environmental protection, finance, automobiles, and other fields. The spokesperson for the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Yang Fan, stated that in the next step, the council will build a platform and pave the way for expanding economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, alleviating difficulties and contributing to the healthy, stable, and sustainable development of Sino-US economic and trade relations. The business communities of China and the United States generally believe that they are the main forces behind the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and also the beneficiaries. The business communities of both countries have formed a community of shared interests based on mutual benefit. Promoting mutually beneficial cooperation between China and the United States is in the common interest of both countries and the global business community.
