On March 11, Sichuan Liwu Copper Industry Co., Ltd. (referred to as Liwu Copper Industry) had its IPO review status on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange changed to "terminated." This was because Liwu Copper Industry applied to withdraw its application for an initial public offering, and in accordance with Article 62 of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange's Stock Issuance and Listing Review Rules, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange decided to terminate the review for its initial public offering of stocks and listing on the main board.
According to the prospectus, Liwu Copper Industry is a state-owned holding enterprise mainly engaged in the exploration, sales, and concurrent operation of hydropower resource development of non-ferrous metal mineral resources in Sichuan Province. The company's main business is the mining and ore-dressing of its own copper mines, with its main product being copper concentrate.
Liwu Copper Industry currently holds mining rights to 4 copper mines: Liwu Copper Mine, Heiniudong Copper Mine, Zhongju Copper Mine, and Wajingou Copper Mine. As of December 31, 2022, the remaining resources (copper metal content) within the mining rights area of Liwu Copper Mine, Heiniudong Copper Mine, Zhongju Copper Mine, and Wajingou Copper Mine were 10,500 tons, 162,100 tons, 88,900 tons, and 3,200 tons respectively.
Within the scope of mining rights and exploration rights, according to the scale division standard of mineral resource reserves issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources, copper ore reserves reaching 500,000 tons or more are considered large-scale copper mines. The cumulative remaining resources (copper metal content) of the 4 copper mines owned by Liwu Copper Industry currently reach 564,000 tons, equivalent to the scale of reserves of a large-scale mine.
In terms of hydropower business, during the reporting period, Liwu Copper Industry's wholly-owned subsidiary, Li Copper Power, operated three cascade hydropower stations in the Sanyave River and Luobosi Gully basin in Jiulong County, Garze Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with a total installed capacity of 58MW.
Financially, for the fiscal years 2020, 2021, 2022, and January to June 2023, the company achieved operating income of approximately 1.902 billion yuan, 2.082 billion yuan, 1.981 billion yuan, and 2.045 billion yuan respectively. The net profits were approximately 61.2447 million yuan, 126 million yuan, 135 million yuan, and 55.8932 million yuan respectively.
