The National Bureau of Statistics and two other departments jointly study the improvement of the network transmission efficiency of "East calculation and West calculation".

Recently, in order to thoroughly implement the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and speed up the implementation of the "East calculation and West algorithm" project to accelerate the construction of a national integrated computing power network, the National Data Bureau, together with the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, focused on fully leveraging the network transmission efficiency of "East calculation and West algorithm", further improving the cost-effectiveness of enterprise network transmission, listened to the opinions and suggestions of national hub node enterprises, data transmission demand enterprises, and telecommunications operators, and studied the establishment of a public transmission channel dedicated to national hub nodes to effectively enhance the network transmission efficiency of "East calculation and West algorithm." Next, the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Data Bureau, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will guide enterprises such as China Telecom Corporation (00728), China United Network Communications (00762), and China Mobile Limited (00941) to strengthen innovation exploration. In the near future, they will pilot the opening of "public transmission channels" for "East calculation and West algorithm" between some hub nodes, exploring the use of multiple service methods to enhance the inclusive and user-friendly level, and effectively improve the sense of acquisition of enterprises.
