Bitcoin concept stocks continue to rise, as of the time of writing, MicroStrategy has risen over 6%.
On Wednesday, shares of Bitcoin-related companies continued to rise. At the time of writing, Coinbase (COIN.US) had risen over 4%, MicroStrategy (MSTR.US) over 6%, Marathon Digital (MARA.US) over 5%, and Riot Platforms (RIOT.US) over 0.8%. Earlier, Bitcoin had surpassed $60,000, with the price of this digital asset rising over 15% this week and 40% year-to-date. The main reasons for this increase may be the excitement sparked by a series of Bitcoin spot ETFs launched in January and the upcoming "halving", where the new supply of Bitcoin will be cut in half, which is usually seen as a catalyst for a significant increase in Bitcoin prices.
