On Tuesday, the stock price of Norwegian Cruise Line (NCLH.US) rose, reaching over 13% to $18.04 at the time of writing. Norwegian Cruise Line's fourth-quarter revenue was $1.986 billion, a 30.8% increase year-on-year; passenger ticket revenue for the quarter was $1.333 billion, up from $1.011 billion in the same period last year; onboard and other revenue was $653 million, up from $508 million in the same period last year; the net loss for the quarter narrowed from $482 million in the same period last year to $106 million; the quarterly loss per share was $0.25, compared to $1.14 per share in the same period last year.
Other cruise stocks rose along with Norwegian Cruise Line, with Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL.US) rising over 4% and Carnival Corporation (CCL.US) rising over 7%.
