BeOne Medicines Reports 34% Revenue Growth in Third Quarter as Oncology Sales Drive Stronger Profits

BeOne Medicines announced on November 5 that total revenue for the three months ended September 30, 2026, reached US$1.89 billion, compared with US$1.41 billion during the corresponding period in 2025. Net product revenue increased 33% to US$1.86 billion, reflecting sustained demand for the company's oncology medicines across major international markets. BRUKINSA, its Bruton tyrosine kinase inhibitor used to treat several blood cancers, accounted for approximately US$1.4 billion in global quarterly sales, representing 34% annual growth. The United States remained a particularly important market, contributing approximately US$1.0 billion in BRUKINSA sales, an increase of 36% year-on-year. Other commercial products also demonstrated momentum, with global sales of the cancer immunotherapy TEVIMBRA rising 28% to US$243 million, while products licensed from Amgen generated US$167 million, up 26%. These results demonstrate how BeOne's international commercialization strategy is translating scientific innovation into increasingly substantial and diversified revenue streams.

The company's profitability improved considerably as sales growth outpaced increases in operating expenditure. Gross margin on product sales expanded to 88% from 86% a year earlier, supported by a higher contribution from BRUKINSA and manufacturing productivity improvements. Operating income under US generally accepted accounting principles reached US$418.7 million, representing growth of 157%, while GAAP net income surged 208% to US$384.7 million from US$124.8 million. Diluted earnings per American depositary share increased to US$3.28 from US$1.09, while adjusted diluted earnings per ADS reached US$4.59. BeOne also generated US$473.5 million in quarterly free cash flow, up 34%, indicating an improving ability to fund its operations and future investment through internally generated cash. Although research and development expenses increased 26% to US$660.8 million and selling, general and administrative expenses rose 12% to US$593.5 million, the company achieved stronger operating leverage as revenue expanded more rapidly than its cost base.

Beyond its financial performance, BeOne continued expanding its clinical development pipeline and strengthening its position in the global oncology market. BRUKINSA received priority review designation from the US Food and Drug Administration for a treatment regimen evaluated in the Phase 3 MANGROVE study involving previously untreated mantle cell lymphoma, while related regulatory submissions were completed in the European Union and China. The company also highlighted progress involving BEQALZI, its next-generation BCL2 inhibitor, and TEVIMBRA, which received regulatory approval in Japan for a first-line nasopharyngeal cancer indication. Developments in solid-tumor therapies included clinical progress in liver, lung and ovarian cancers, alongside a collaboration with Revolution Medicines to evaluate combinations involving RAS-targeted treatments. These initiatives are important because BeOne's long-term growth will depend on successfully extending its pharmaceutical portfolio beyond its established hematology franchise into additional therapeutic areas.

The strong quarterly performance prompted BeOne to increase its 2026 financial guidance. Management now expects annual revenue of US$6.9 billion–US$7.0 billion, compared with its previous forecast of US$6.6 billion–US$6.8 billion. Projected GAAP operating income was also raised to US$1.2 billion–US$1.3 billion, while adjusted operating income is expected to reach US$1.9 billion–US$2.0 billion. For the first nine months of 2026, the company generated US$5.11 billion in revenue and US$849.1 million in GAAP net income, representing annual increases of 33% and 285%, respectively. As a biotechnology company listed in the United States, Hong Kong and mainland China, BeOne's performance illustrates the growing international competitiveness of Chinese-origin pharmaceutical innovation. Nevertheless, its future earnings trajectory remains dependent on successful clinical trials, regulatory approvals, pricing conditions and the continued commercial expansion of its leading medicines.
