DAIDO GROUP (00544) announced that the Group has commenced data center infrastructure services business, including: (a) procurement and sale of data center computing power equipment; (b) provision of computing power resource services, including leasing of computing power equipment and computing power resources; and (c) maintenance services for data center infrastructure and equipment, as well as data and software technical support. The Group has entered into contracts with independent third-party customers. It is expected that these contracts will be performed and the relevant revenue recognized before the end of the current financial year. The computing power equipment and resources used to provide computing power resource services are leased from independent third parties and do not constitute assets of the Group. The above expectations are forward-looking statements made by the Board based on currently available information. These expectations have not been audited or reviewed by the Company's auditors and may change due to the timing and progress of contract performance, revenue recognition, customer demand, availability and cost of computing power resources, electricity and network costs, technological developments, market competition and other factors. The Board believes that the data center infrastructure services business can leverage the Group's existing trading and sales capabilities, as well as its expertise in managing high-power-consumption and temperature-sensitive infrastructure (including site selection, power load management, precise temperature control, facility maintenance and equipment procurement), and will benefit from the growing demand for computing power equipment and computing power resource services across multiple industries. The Group is strengthening its technical support capabilities by recruiting new talent. The Board considers that the new business aligns with the Group's strategy to expand its business scope and revenue base and enhance its long-term sustainable development capabilities. The new business is conducted within the Group's existing corporate structure, and the Group will continue to operate its existing businesses.
