HKD HIBOR falls across the board; one-month rate drops for a second straight day to 2.58%, a more than two-month low.

On November 5, HKD HIBOR fell across the board, with the one-month rate, which is linked to mortgage payments, at 2.57893%, down 6.089 basis points; the three-month rate, which reflects banks' funding costs, was at 3.15000%, down 3.601 basis points. The overnight rate was at 2.20143%, down 2.512 basis points; the one-week HIBOR fell 8.340 basis points to 2.25708%, while the two-week rate fell 10.000 basis points to 2.37441%. On longer tenors, the six-month HIBOR fell 5.732 basis points to 3.30399%, while the one-year rate fell 4.024 basis points to 3.80946%.
