On November 5, KE Holdings (02423) released a "Critical Illness Navigation Guide" for its 500,000 service providers on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the Green Plan and the 8th month of implementation of the Health Home Beike Guardian Fund, integrating the four-tier protection jointly formed by the Green Plan and the Health Home Beike Guardian Fund into one place. The guide clearly presents the applicable scope, application conditions, and application entry points of the four-tier protection, allowing service providers to determine the applicable scope based on their own circumstances. The four-tier protections do not conflict with each other and can be applied for cumulatively. (Image: KE Holdings Critical Illness Navigation Guide) On the same day, the two major protection programs each updated their progress: the Green Plan revised its charter, adjusting details such as the deductible amount and pre-existing conditions to further enhance service providers' protection rights; the Health Home Beike Guardian Fund announced its latest disbursement status. As of October 31, a cumulative RMB13.54 million had been disbursed to 304 service providers, of whom 187 were also Green Plan members, and 54 had received combined "Guardian Fund + Green Plan" protection, with a cumulative RMB6.897 million credited. (Image: From the official WeChat account of "Beike Group") It is understood that the Green Plan and the Health Home Beike Guardian Fund complement each other: the former has a broader protection scope, covering illnesses and accidents of service providers themselves, their spouses, children, parents, and parents-in-law; the latter is more focused, specifically addressing urgent and difficult needs after a critical illness diagnosis. From the application data, thyroid cancer and breast cancer rank among the top in both programs. This upgrade of the Green Plan charter also further enhances service providers' protection rights. Within the same calendar year, if the same beneficiary applies for assistance multiple times due to different illnesses and meets the conditions, the deductible amount is calculated only once per year; if pulmonary nodules, breast nodules, or thyroid nodules are detected before joining takes effect, and the corresponding site tumor is diagnosed after joining and meets the conditions, it will no longer be recognized as a "pre-existing condition"; a cooling-off period has been added, allowing withdrawal and simultaneous refund application from the day of joining and payment until the effective date of the following month; the membership tenure calculation rules have also been adjusted. Previously, rejoining after withdrawal required starting from zero; now, for those who withdrew due to resignation or overdue payment and rejoin within the specified 24 months, the most recent membership tenure exceeding 1 year can be converted, with every full year converted to half a year, and then accumulated with the membership tenure after this joining. The Green Plan is a service provider protection program launched by KE Holdings in 2008, formerly known as the Lianjia Group Mutual Aid Fund. In January 2021, with the continuous injection of donated funds from executives and long-serving employees, the cumulative assistance cap was raised from RMB200,000 to RMB2 million. As of October 31, the Green Plan had cumulatively accepted 64,730 applications and disbursed nearly RMB880 million. Of this, apart from member contributions, the cumulative funding gap was RMB124,453,291.03, which was supplemented by contributions from KE Holdings Group, KE Holdings, and Lianjia executives and long-serving employees. The Health Home Beike Guardian Fund was established by KE Holdings co-founders Peng Yongdong and Shan Yigang with a total donation of 19 million shares in April 2025 and February 2026. The program's protection target is the service providers themselves; no separate enrollment or payment is required, and it automatically takes effect after 6 months of employment, benefiting more than 500,000 service providers in the residential industry. The program has three sub-projects: for sudden critical illness diagnoses with complete documentation, RMB20,000 in emergency life protection funds can be received within 2 working days; for complete loss of work capacity or death, a one-time RMB100,000 family warmth assistance fund is available; beneficiaries of the family warmth assistance fund who have children can also receive child education funds ranging from RMB20,000 to RMB100,000 depending on the child's school-age stage.
