CSPC PHARMA (01093): Phase I/II Clinical Trial of SYS6052 (Recombinant Herpes Zoster Virus Vaccine (CHO Cells)) Officially Launched in China

CSPC PHARMA (01093) announced that the Phase I/II clinical trial of SYS6052 recombinant herpes zoster virus vaccine (Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells) developed by the Group has officially been launched in China. The product is a recombinant protein vaccine developed by the Group, consisting of varicella-zoster virus glycoprotein E (gE) protein antigen and a novel nano-adjuvant system independently developed by the Group. By optimizing the antigen and nano-adjuvant system, the product can induce strong humoral and cellular immune responses. In July 2026, the Group received the Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice issued by the National Medical Products Administration of the People's Republic of China, and after approval, initiated a randomized, blinded, controlled Phase I/II clinical trial aimed at evaluating the safety and immunogenicity of the product in people aged 40 and above. Currently, participant recruitment and screening for the clinical trial are being actively advanced.
