CSPC PHARMA (01093) announced that the Phase I clinical trial of SYS6057, a recombinant respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine (Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell) developed by the Group (the Product), has officially been launched in China. The Product is a recombinant RSV vaccine (CHO cell) developed by the Group, intended clinically for the prevention of lower respiratory tract disease caused by RSV infection. Its preclinical pharmacodynamic, pharmacokinetic, and toxicological studies have been fully completed. Research results show that the Product exhibits good challenge protection against both RSV subtypes A and B, demonstrates high neutralizing antibody activity, and provides durable immune protection. The Group received the Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice issued by the National Medical Products Administration of the People's Republic of China in July 2026, and following approval initiated a randomized, blinded, placebo-controlled Phase I clinical trial aimed at evaluating the safety and immunogenicity of the Product in individuals aged 18 and above. Currently, participant recruitment and screening for the clinical trial are being actively advanced.
