CHINA LIT (00772) rose over 7%, up 7.3% as of press time to HK$22.92, with turnover of HK$63.37 million. On the news front, according to CCTV Finance, AI technology has accelerated the development of the comic drama industry since the start of this year, and domestic comic dramas have recently gained favor in overseas markets, becoming a new growth driver for the industry. Currently, about 10 Chinese companies have established overseas short drama platforms, and more than ten short drama apps going overseas have launched dedicated AI comic drama channels. Active users of AI comic dramas in overseas markets have exceeded 150 million in total, and Chinese companies occupy nine of the top ten paid overseas short drama apps. AI is becoming a new growth driver for China Literature's overseas expansion: in the first half, AI translation drove a 160% year-on-year increase in revenue from WebNovel's minority-language online literature; on the overseas platform ToonScroll, 50 comic dramas have each surpassed 10 million views. Recently, the company also disclosed at Tencent's Global Digital Ecosystem Summit International Going-Global Summit that its comic drama creation tool DramaBuddy has officially integrated with Tencent WorkBuddy. China Securities Co.,Ltd. noted that the company has continued to improve the complete closed loop of "online literature IP - AI adaptation - distribution and monetization" since the start of this year, and is optimistic that the company will benefit from AI development in improving IP monetization.
