As of press time, Contemporary Amperex Technology (03750) rose 4.25% to HK$353.2; CALB (03931) rose 3.20% to HK$13.55; Ganfeng Lithium Group (01772) rose 2.91% to HK$22.66; ZENERGY (03677) rose 2.38% to HK$3.44. On the news front, according to statistics from the ICC Xinhong Energy Storage Database, global energy storage battery shipments in the first three quarters of 2026 totaled 839.3GWh, up 96.3% year on year; of this, shipments from domestic manufacturers reached 810.9GWh, up 94.5% year on year, while shipments from overseas manufacturers reached 28.4GWh, up 164% year on year. Xinhong Lithium Battery expects full-year 2026 global energy storage battery shipments to potentially reach 1,150GWh. Huaxi believes that, driven by rapidly growing energy storage demand, the domestic lithium battery industry chain showed a trend of an unusually strong off-season in early 2026. After demand was released ahead of schedule, there has been some degree of pace adjustment at present, and demand is expected to maintain rapid growth on a full-year basis. Over the medium to long term, driven by the increase in battery capacity per vehicle and by energy storage, domestic power and energy storage battery demand is expected to maintain steady growth.
