PRADA (01913) rose over 5%, up 5.05% as of press time to HK$39.92, with turnover of HK$54.4515 million. On the news front, PRADA recently released its unaudited revenue for the nine months ended September 30, 2026. For the nine months ended September 30, 2026, the Prada Group generated net revenue of EUR4.541 billion, up 14.5% year-on-year (organic growth +3.5%). Foreign exchange rate fluctuations had a negative impact of approximately 2.9%, resulting in reported growth of 11.6%. Despite the challenging comparative base caused by the Group's strong +9.3% growth in the nine months of 2025, net retail sales still grew 11.0% year-on-year (organic growth +2.0%). Citi released a research report stating that PRADA's third-quarter group sales came in at EUR1.49 billion, in line with market expectations; excluding Versace, organic growth at constant exchange rates was 1%, compared with 7% growth in the previous quarter, while market expectations were for flat growth. Among this, Prada retail rose 1%, in line with market expectations, with same-store sales broadly flat. The bank noted that the slowdown in growth was affected by weaker footfall in China and Japan, as well as higher comparative bases in the US and South Korea, but management disclosed on the conference call that performance in September and October had improved slightly from July and August, the market response to the Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2027 collection was strong after its launch, and Versace plans to increase investment in 2027, which may limit room for narrowing losses.
