SITC (01308) has been notified that controlling shareholder Resourceful Link pledged company shares.

SITC (01308) announced that on October 29, 2026, the Company's controlling shareholder, Resourceful Link Management Limited (Resourceful Link), pledged 400 million ordinary shares of the Company's issued share capital (the Pledged Shares) to a licensed bank in Hong Kong (the Bank) as security for a loan facility granted by the Bank to Mr. Yang Shaopeng (Mr. Yang), the Company's controlling shareholder (the Loan). As at the date of this announcement, the Pledged Shares represent approximately 14.75% of the Company's total issued share capital. As at the date the security was created, Mr. Yang indirectly controlled all of the issued shares of Resourceful Link through a family trust, and Resourceful Link held approximately 40.49% of the Company's issued share capital. The Loan is not used to secure any indebtedness of the Company or its subsidiaries (the Group), nor is it used to secure any guarantee or other support for any liabilities of the Group.
