Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals (01276): HRS-2189 Tablets Approved to Initiate Clinical Trials
Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals (01276) announced that recently, its subsidiary Shandong Shengdi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. received the Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice issued by the National Medical Products Administration for HRS-2189 Tablets, and will initiate clinical trials in the near future.
Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals (01276) announced that recently, its subsidiary Shandong Shengdi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. received the "Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice" issued by the National Medical Products Administration for HRS-2189 tablets, and will initiate clinical trials in the near future.
HRS-2189 tablets are a novel KAT6 inhibitor that exerts antitumor effects by inhibiting histone lysine acetylation levels and regulating the expression of multiple downstream oncogenes, and are intended for the treatment of advanced malignant tumors. Currently, no drugs targeting the same target have been approved for marketing in China or abroad. As of now, cumulative R&D investment in HRS-2189 tablet-related projects is approximately RMB55.3 million (unaudited).
