Aspen Neuroscience has announced the terms of its IPO.
Aspen Neuroscience (ASPE.US), a clinical-stage biotech company developing a stem cell therapy for Parkinson's disease, announced the terms of its IPO on Monday. The San Diego, California-based company plans to offer 9.4 million shares at $15 to $17 per share to raise $150 million. At the midpoint of the proposed range, Aspen Neuroscience would have a fully diluted market value of approximately $494 million. Aspen Neuroscience is focused on developing autologous induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived therapies for neurodegenerative diseases. Its lead candidate, sasineprocel, is a single-dose cell therapy made from cells taken from a patient's own skin biopsy, designed to replace the dopaminergic neurons lost in Parkinson's disease. The company is conducting an open-label Phase 1/2a clinical trial evaluating the efficacy of its drug sasineprocel. As of August 18, 2026, 15 patients had been dosed; based on FDA feedback, the company expects to dose patients in a Phase III trial in the second half of 2027. Sasineprocel has received Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy (RMAT) and Fast Track designations from the FDA. Founded in 2018, Aspen Neuroscience plans to list on Nasdaq under the ticker "ASPE." Leerink Partners, Piper Sandler, Stifel, UBS Investment Bank and Oppenheimer & Co. are the joint bookrunners for the offering. Pricing is expected in the week of October 26, 2026.
