The Group adhered to its development strategy of integrating fertilizers and chemicals. During the reporting period, it continued to optimize its product mix, capture market windows, and advance marketing transformation, achieving increases in both product volumes and prices, which drove overall gross profit up 43% year on year and promoted high-quality growth in operating performance. With the Jiangxi Phase II and chemical new materials projects put into operation on schedule, urea output increased by 780,000 tonnes year on year. On the basis of cost reduction and volume growth, the Group continued to optimize its product mix. Sales of high-efficiency urea rose 17% year on year, and with a gross profit per tonne RMB34 higher than that of ordinary urea, this drove an increase of RMB450 million in overall urea gross profit. At the same time, the Group continued to advance its overseas market layout, seized export quotas and window periods in advance, and increased urea export volume by nearly 100,000 tonnes year on year, further driving overall performance growth.
In addition, the Group seized the opportunity of rising chemical product prices and, relying on flexible production, converted part of its surplus liquid ammonia into methanol. Through the cost advantage of integrated coal-to-methanol production, it promoted the upgrading of various chemical products toward high value-added areas and increased the proportion of differentiated products such as pharmaceutical-grade DMF and modified polyoxymethylene, achieving increases in both volumes and prices of chemical products and driving a year-on-year increase of RMB650 million in gross profit from chemical products in the first three quarters, an increase of 77%, maximizing profitability.
In the third quarter alone, the Group successfully completed maintenance work at all bases. Although concentrated maintenance put some pressure on quarterly performance, through process optimization and upgrading of automation systems, the unit automation rate rose to 90%, reaching the reference standard for smart factories and laying the foundation for stable full-load production. In this quarter, the Group achieved revenue of approximately RMB7.307 billion, up 38% year on year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of approximately RMB217 million, up 8% year on year.
