Montage Technology (06809): Independent director proposes that the company repurchase A-shares

Montage Technology (06809) has announced that on October 16, 2026, the company's board of directors received a letter from the company's independent director, Mr. YUHUA CHENG (), titled "Letter Regarding the Proposal for Montage Technology Co., Ltd. to Repurchase the Company's A-Shares." Mr. YUHUA CHENG () proposed that the company repurchase its A-shares using its own funds through centralized bidding transactions. Total funds for the share repurchase: no less than RMB 300 million (inclusive), and no more than RMB 500 million (inclusive). The repurchased shares will all be used for an employee stock ownership plan or equity incentive at an appropriate time in the future, and will be transferred within three years after the announcement of the share repurchase implementation results and share changes; if the repurchased shares are not fully transferred within three years after the announcement of the share repurchase implementation results and share changes, the company will perform the procedures for reducing registered capital in accordance with the law, and the untransferred shares will be cancelled.
