Tencent Cloud will raise .com domain registration, renewal, and transfer prices.
On October 19, Tencent Cloud issued a notice stating that it had received notification from the .com domain registry Verisign that the wholesale price of .com domain registrations will increase globally starting November 1, 2026. Due to changes in upstream costs, Tencent Cloud will adjust its selling prices for .com domains accordingly. The prices for registration, renewal, and transfer-in of .com suffixes will increase, while redemption prices will remain unchanged; prices for other domain suffixes will also be unaffected.
